Winston Salem - Caroline "Cari" Farrell, 25, passed away December 2, 2015. She was born June 20, 1990 in Winston Salem, NC. She attended our Lady of Mercy Catholic School, Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School, and West Forsyth High School. She loved sports and excelled at all of them, especially basketball and cheerleading. Cari enjoyed fishing, 4-wheeling, music, and dancing. She loved her job, and the work she did with Hip Chics. Her fun-loving enthusiasm could light up any room. She leaves behind her parents, Kristina Farrell and Mike Farrell, Jr.; her brothers, Michael (Makayla) and Kirby Farrell; her niece, Paisley Rae; grandmothers, Hazel Draughan and Mary Farrell; aunts, Ceclia (Wayne) Smith, Sandy McHenry, and Victoria (Robert) Helms; cousins, Jenny Embree (Ava and Harper), Scott Lyons, Ashley McHenry, Alex McHenry, John McHenry, and Stewart McHenry; her close friend, Wes Kapp; her friend and mentor, Kristina Prysiazniuk; all of her beloved coworkers at Hip Chics; and many other loved ones. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ernest Ray Holland, Max Draughan, and Ray Farrell, Sr. Cari will always be our ray of sunshine and she will be thoroughly missed. The Visitation will be Friday, December 4, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home in Clemmons, 2849 Middlebrook Dr. A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4820 Kinnamon Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Caroline Farrell Memorial Fund" for the benefit of her beloved niece, Paisley Rae Farrell.
