Mark Edward Burkett, 56, of Logansport, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2016, at Community Howard Regional Health. Kokomo.
Born August 4, 1959, in Logansport, he was the son of Dixie (Cottingham) Burkett and the late Clifford C. Burkett. His mother survives in Logansport.
Mark was a 1978 graduate of Logansport High School.
He worked in the maintenance of rental properties and was an automotive mechanic who enjoyed working on cars. Mark also loved to go fishing.
Surviving with his mother are two daughters, Janelle (Joseph) Hill of Logansport and Andromida Conklin of Frankfort; two brothers, Ronald Alan Burkett of Georgia and Kevin (Della) Burkett of Logansport; and three grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one son, Jared Levi Burkett and one brother Clifford Arland Burkett.
A funeral service , February 29 in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Jeff Strite officiating.
Burial will be in Ramer Cemetery.
