Benjamin George Allen was a civilian casualty of WW2

Benjamin was born in Islington the son of George and Sara Ann Allen. He was a brother to Isabella Jane, John Henry, Mary Ann (Marion), Emily Elizabeth and William Allen.

In 1897 Benjamin married Jessie Alice Inker in Holborn and had daughters Jessie, May Ellen and Ivy Allen.

Sadly Benjamin, a bus driver of Liverpool Road Islington perished in an enemy air attack on his home and was laid to rest at ISLINGTON CEMETERY on the 26th March 1941.

At the time of his passing Benjamin was 64 years of age.
