"Fred Fiske, a former Mooresville resident, died at his home in Seattle, Wash., Saturday according to a message received by his cousin, Mrs. Mary Bingham, of Mooresville. The body is being returned to Mooresville for burial.

Mr. Fiske, a son of the late Mary E. and Dr. Theo Fiske, had been affiliated with the American Radiator Co., in Seattle for several years.

He is survived by two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Gene Hightower of Grand Junction, Colo., who will arrive tonight; Mrs. Earl Curran of Brookfield; Frank Fiske of California; and Joe Fiske of Fairbury, Nebraska." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, February 22, 1944

"Funeral services will be held from the Mooresville Methodist Church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Burial will be in the Mooresville Cemetery and there will be a graveside service conducted by the Chillicothe Masons." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, February 26, 1944
