Funeral services will be held Thursday morning. Short services will be held at 8:30 from the Klein and Stangel funeral home, where the body may be viewed, and at 9 o'clock from St. Luke's Catholic church with the Rev. C.V. Hugo officiating. Interment will be in Pioneers' Rest cemetery.
Mrs. Sanford, nee Jennie Gauthier, was born in Two Rivers in 1857, the daughter of the late Louis and Ettie Gauthier, and resided in Two Rivers all her life. Her father was one of the city's pioneers engaged in the cooper trade and the making of fish barrels. Thirty years ago she was married to George Sanford, who preceded her in death 11 years ago.
Four sisters and three brothers survive.
