Kenneth "Ken" Burns Howell, 81, of Oakland Church Road, Princeton passed away Wayne Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 27, 2016. Mr. Howell was born October 30, 1934 and was the son of the late Moody Ashley Howell and Cova Marie Bagwell Howell. He was also preceded in death by brothers, George Howell and Dub Howell; and sisters, Mildred H. Williams, Margaret H. Melton, and John Ann H. Barnhill. A 7:00 pm funeral service will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Princeton Baptist Church with the Reverend Dwayne Batten officiating. The burial will take place in Princeton Cemetery at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.

Mr. Howell was a member of Princeton Baptist Church, a retired from the United States Air Force, and also a retired member of the Oakland Fire Department. He helped with the Meals on Wheels with the Senior Center.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia "Pat" Dudley Howell; sons, Kenneth Bryan Howell and wife, Lilian of Princeton , and Paul Raymond Howell of Princeton; grandchildren, Alison R. Howell, Elizabeth R. Bailey, and William Kimball; and a great granddaughter, Juliana Bailey

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Princeton Baptist Church.
