Fort Edward - Myrtle Sears Rinaldi, 90, of the Fort Hudson Residential Health Care facility and formerly of Troy, died Saturday at the home after a long illness.

Born in Green Island, she was the daughter of the late William and Alice Pipp (sic) Sears and wife of Pasquale (Patrick) Rinaldi of Troy. She had resided in Troy most of her life.

Mrs. Rinaldi was a machine operator for 30 years at Standard Manufacturing Co. in Troy, retiring 20 years ago. Prior to that she worked at Model Shirts, Cluett Peabody & Co. and M. Nirenberg & sons.

She was a communicant of St. Peter's Church in Troy and a member of the Troy Senior Citizens.

Survivors, besides her husband, include a daughter, Lois A. Sloan Walsh of Saratoga Springs; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 276 Pawling Ave. in Troy, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery in Troy.

Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
