Richard A. Eckman, 32, former resident of Lodi, died Thursday in Los Angeles after a short illness. A native of Denhoff, N.D., he moved to Lodi in 1952. He attended Lodi schools and was a graduate of Lodi Union High School with the class of 1954. He is survived by his parents, John Eckman of Lodi and Katherine Eckman of Washington, D.C.; four sisters, Mrs. Iva Brodehl of Lodi, Mrs. Lillian McAdams and Miss Jean Eckman of Washington, D.D. and Mrs. Delila Schneider of Bismarck, N.D., and Wilbert Eckman of Lodi.
