Roberta 'Bobbi' Rose, 87, died February 12, 2016, peacefully in Vashon, Wash.

Bobbi was born in Seattle December 27, 1928, to William and Olga Magill. She was raised on Vashon and some of her fondest memories are from her youth spent with her brother Charles.

Bobbi met her husband Harold M. Rose on Vashon. Together they moved to the mainland and settled in Normandy Park.

Bobbi had many interests in life and was successful in everything she attempted. She was a loving mom to her children and a devoted wife to her husband. She was a shrewd investor who without a computer studied the markets every day and never missed a beat. She was a world traveler, wandering extensively over every continent except Antarctica. Her great passion was contract bridge, which she pursued professionally for many years. As a bridge player she won numerous awards and competitions and left the game as life grand master.

Bobbi will always be remembered for her sense of self. She was never shy with an opinion and was generally right. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Bobbi is survived by her son, Robert Rose; daughter Carol Jones.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Rose.

Graveside service will be held Friday March 4, 1pm at Vashon cemetery.
