Funeral services for Mrs. Belle Nicolay, 94, who died Sunday at Carbondale were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Carbondale Community church, with burial in Highland cemetery. Mrs. Nicolay was born in Glasco, Ill., and was the mother of 11 children, six of who are living. Surviving are three sons, Karhl of Carbondale, Owen of Fontana, Calif., and Alfa of 1620 East 6th, and three daughters, Mrs. Alice McDowell of Tecumseh, Mrs. Millie Erickson of Richland and Mrs. Tola Bartee of Fontana, Calif., and 145 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. 6 Jan 1955 The Carbon Copy, Carbondale
