Stanley was born to Paul and Lucille (Flemming) Richardson on October 19, 1938, in Brownwood. Lifetime resident of Brownwood, Stanley attended the Church of Christ. He married Glenda Deavers on April 7, 1962 in Brownwood.
Stanley joined and proudly served in the United States Navy. After his stint in the Navy, Stanley co-owned B&R T.V. He worked for Winn Dixie after retiring from B&R T.V. Stanley was a fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys.
Stanley is survived by his wife of 54 years, Glenda Richardson; daughter, Debbie Sutton and husband Larry; son, Stephen Richardson and wife Mary; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol Coward and husband Shelly of Arkansas, and Sandra Edgar. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. Stanley is preceded in death by his parents.
