CAROLYN ALQUIST, 72 died February 25, 2016 at Park Villa Nursing Home in Clyde, KS. She was born on August 27, 1943 in Concordia, KS, the daughter of L.C. and Doris (Lyon) Blackburn. Carolyn graduated from Clyde High School. She married Danial Alquist on November 17, 1962. Carolyn worked for TWA for over three years while living in Chicago. Later they made their home in Kansas City and Manhattan where she worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone until her retirement. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Library Board, both of Clifton. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, parents and great-grandson.
