Carroll Davis Bailey, 81, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, KY.

Mr. Bailey was born February 7, 1935, in Princeton, WV., to the late Cogle and Mary Jane Bailey.

Carroll was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Raceland, KY. He is a Veteran of the United States Army. One of his most noteworthy accomplishments of his professional career was being elected to serve as the President of the Kentucky Agricultural Agents. He was formerly employed by the University of Kentucky as the Greenup County Agriculture Agent. Mr. Bailey was an avid woodworker and enjoyed spending time gardening.

Carroll is preceded in death by his sister, Janet Riggleman.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 55 years Joy Bailey, two daughters, Kim (Jim) Cummings of Mannington, WV., and Pam Bailey of Kannoplis, NC., two grandchildren, Matthew and Madison Cummings and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Grace United Methodist Church in Raceland, KY., with Pastor Don Young officiating.

A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2016, at Roselawn Cemetery in Princeton, WV.
