Joyce Breeding, age 74, of War, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, (February 24, 2016) at her home. Born February 4, 1942 in Warrior Mines, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Garland and Stella Boyd Breeding. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a 1959 high school graduate.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one nephew, Lowell Breeding, Jr.
Survivors include two brothers, James Breeding of Augusta, Georgia and Lowell Breeding and wife, Priscilla of Neptune Beach, Florida; nieces and nephews, Jackie Heller, Diana Weathersby, Veronica Sckock, and Sabine Singletary.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Boyd officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia.
Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6 pm Saturday.
