He was born April 28, 1940 in Richmond, Kentucky, the son of Clarence and Ada (Lewis) Davidson.
Joe worked for many years as an operating engineer for Kelley & Carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and his grandchildren's sports activities.
He is survived by his wife; children.; four grandchildren; a sister; special friends and many friends, neighbors and cousins.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; brother Ray Davidson and sisters, Ruth Daniels and Zelda Smith.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 11:00 -1:00 with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm at the Ogle – Paul R. Young Funeral Home, Oxford. The family has requested that donations be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, 4360 Cooper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242.
