Richard Thomas "Tommy" Sigler, 82, of Evansville, IN, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016.
Richard was born in Simpson, Illinois on September 16, 1933 to George and Lilly (Underhill) Sigler. He worked in construction as a millwright and later retired as a maintenance supervisor at ALCOA. Richard was a member of Bethel Penecostal Church. He loved his family and going to church. Richard served in the Army during the Korean War.
Richard is survived by his wife of 59 years, Peggy (Lutz) Sigler; daughters, Tammy Nevitt (Reg) of Flint, MI and Tonya Settles (Rod) of Tampa, FL; son, Steven Sigler (Donna) of Evansville, IN; sisters, Diana Brooks and Cordelia Wolfe both of Louisville, KY; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ethel Whitlow and Peggy Thomas; and brother, Jerry Sigler.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Bethel Pentecostal Church, 3421 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, IN 47720, with Rev. Aaron Henson, Rev. Ted Totsch, and Rev. Brandon Shanks officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, February 26, 2016 at Bethel Pentecostal Church and again on Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time.
