Dale Schultz, 75, of Miller, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Society in Miller.

Funeral service was Monday, February 29, 2016 at Reck Funeral Home, Miller with Rev. Brian Jones officiating. Burial followed at Hillcrest Cemetery, Miller.

Dale was born in Northeast Hand County on a farm. He was the youngest of a family of six siblings born to Charles and Ethel (Williams) Schultz on May 7, 1940. As an infant, he moved into St. Lawrence and then to Miller where he attended school. Later he worked for many years at the Miller Press and Good Samaritan Society.

Dale loved to walk and visit with the many people he became acquainted with.

Survivors include his four siblings: Dorothy Dickert of Lexington, SC, Phyllis (Bruce) Groves of Mesa, AZ, Casey (Luella) Schultz of Miller, and Doris Schultz of Miller; ten nieces and nephews, including Barbara Hasart; and Junior, Terry, and Jenise Krick; and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Jim Krick; brother-in-law, Dick Dickert; and two nieces and nephews.
