Alvin Hamilton, 78, of Greenville, died January 6, 2012, in Hendersonville, NC.
Born in Gastonia, NC, he was the son of the late Pete and Viola Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton served his country in the US Navy prior to working as a Director of Purchasing with Liberty Life, from which he retired. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael Hamilton and his wife, Catherine Costin, and Robert Hamilton and his wife, Kim; a daughter, Laura Hamilton and her wife Charlene; and four grandchildren, Donovan and Benjamin Hamilton, Cathryn Straud, and Daniel Costin. He was predeceased by one brother.
Burial will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
