Born in Ellenton, SC on May 13, 1947, she had lived in South Carolina for several years before moving to Brantley County. Mrs. Crews had worked for Fred’s and was known for her pumpkin pies. She had also enjoyed reading in her spare time.
She was the daughter of the late Barney & Sarah Ginn Wood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lucion Nolan Crews.
Survivors include two daughters, Tonya Norman of Warrenville, SC, and Janice Kirkland (fiancé, David O’Quinn) all of Hoboken; a brother, Barney Wood of Bonaire, GA; 6 grandchildren, Andrew, Tina, Angel, Taylor, Jayson, and Baylee; 2 great grandchildren, Haley and Arabella; and several nieces, nephews & other relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Crews will be held Saturday morning, February 27, 2016, at 11:00 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
Interment will be in the Hortense Cemetery.
Visitation for Mrs. Crews will be held Friday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at the funeral home.
