Milton R. Clark, Jr. of Horsham, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Abington Hospice at Warminster. He was 95 years old. Milton was born March 18, 1920 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Milton R. Clark Sr. and the late Martha L. Clark (nee - Dove). He is the beloved husband of Mildred C. (nee Schaffer) Clark; father of Kenneth Clark and his wife Linda, Carol Wampole and her husband Greg, Donna Check and her husband Jim, and Joan Ramsdale and her husband Rick; grandfather of 10; great grandfather of 8; brother of the late Frederick Clark, the late Verna Angely, the late Martha L. Kozbial, the late Charlotte Clark and the late Eleanor Burkhardt.
Milton was raised and educated in the Horsham area. He was a 1938 graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School. Milton enlisted in the United States Army in May of 1943 and served honorably during the Second World War. He was discharged on February 1, 1946 with the rank of Sergeant. Milton met Mildred in Horsham and after a seven month courtship were married April 27, 1946 at St. Joseph’s Church in Warrington, PA. They raised their family in Horsham. Milton worked for Standard Press Steel for 42 years as a Production Group Leader. In his free time he enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing cards, and his trips to Atlantic City, NJ.
