Milton was raised and educated in the Horsham area. He was a 1938 graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School. Milton enlisted in the United States Army in May of 1943 and served honorably during the Second World War. He was discharged on February 1, 1946 with the rank of Sergeant. Milton met Mildred in Horsham and after a seven month courtship were married April 27, 1946 at St. Joseph’s Church in Warrington, PA. They raised their family in Horsham. Milton worked for Standard Press Steel for 42 years as a Production Group Leader. In his free time he enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing cards, and his trips to Atlantic City, NJ.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. His graveside service will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Prospectville, PA 19002.
Religious services will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Donald C. Hoagland from Supplee Memorial Presbyterian Church, 855 Welsh Road, Maple Glen, PA 19025
