Christeen F. (Bernard) Edens, 85, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday Feb. 24, 2016 in Franklin.
She was born February 12, 1931 to Reuben C. and Lula S (Holt) Bernard in Liberty KY.
She was a Charter Member of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church of Franklin. She loved gospel music, and was a past Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include five children, Gloria Locey(Jerry) of North Port, Florida. Janet Edens(Ed) of Frankfort, Rita Summers (David) of Indianapolis, Eddie Edens(Jessica) and Letha Wolfarth(Robert), both of Franklin, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Edens and a daughter Joan Wilborn.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 1349 N. Graham Road, Franklin, with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
