Mr. Denver retired as Postmaster of Senecaville after more than 25 years of service. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing.
He was a member of Senecaville Presbyterian Church, a 1934 graduate of Senecaville High School, an Army veteran of WWII having earned 5 major battle stars and campaign ribbons. He was also a life member of VFW #2901.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (Christian) Denver whom he married January 8, 1944 and passed away December 10, 1990; second wife, Elaine Denver; three brothers, Gerald, Richard and infant Dale; grandson, Charles Denver; great-granddaughter, McKenzie Dawn.
