MORRISTOWN -- Loretta Fowler Hawkins, 69, of Morristown, died Friday at Morristown Hamblen Health Care System.
Her family said she "went to be with the Lord."
She was the owner of East Tennessee Florist in Morristown for 26 years.
She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hawkins was a daughter of the late Joe and Lucille Fowler.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years: Clifford Hawkins; one daughter and son-in-law: Jackie and Danny Hughes of Bean Station; one son and daughter-in-law: Gene and Dianne Hawkins of Whitesburg; two grandchildren and a grandson-in-law: Tiffany Hawkins, and Brandi and Perry Hodson; three great-grandchildren: Gideon Hodson, Elsie Hodson, and Loretta Hodson, all of Knoxville; two stepgrandchildren: Sonny Eslinger and Heather Eslinger; two stepgreat-granchildren: Hailey Eslinger and Nickolas Eslinger; four sisters and brothers-in-law: Evelyn Brockwell of Greeneville, Woneta and John Hodge of Morristown, Deanna and Brian Duffy of Bybee, and Rita Kay and Warren Spessert of Bean Station; seven brothers and sisters-in-law:, Don and Nadine Fowler, Albert Fowler, Robert and Sarah Fowler, Allen and Sandra Fowler, Calvin and Joan Fowler, Glen and Diana Fowler, and Joe Fowler Jr. and his wife, Connie, all of Newport; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Emma and Bob Jones, Helen and Jack Cupp, all of Mohawk, and Barbara and David Linkous, Evelyn Haney and Peggy Hawkins, all of Morristown; more than 100 nieces and nephews; and a "host" of friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel.
The Rev. Jamie Fowler and the Rev. Doug Rutherford will officiate. A committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hamblen Memory Gardens
