Mrs Schumacher Dies at Hospital
Illness of week fatal to North State St Resident.

Mrs Doris Lucille Mayer Schumacher, 32, wife of Raymond T Schumacher of 248 North State Street, died in City hospital about 1 p.m. Sunday. She had been ill a week.

Born March 2, 1915, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of Fred E Mayer and Ethel Taylor Mayer, The father a native of Lewistown and the mother of Holgate. Feb 24 1940, she married Mr Schumacher in Richwood and was a member of the Methodist Church at Lewistown and of Marion Circle No 184, P.H.C.

Surviving with her husband are her stepfather and her mother, Mr and Mrs Howard Johnson of Belle Center, a son Raymond Eugene Schumacher, a sister, Mrs Elmer Berry of Richwood, a brother Delmar Mayer of 211 Jefferson Street, stepsister, Mrs James Jenkins of Rose Avenue and Mrs Gale Livingston of Lexington, and a step brother, Donald Johnson of Smeltzer road.

Funeral Services were set for 3 p.m. today in the Merle H Hughes Mortuary on Mt Vernon Avenue, in charge of the Very Rev William J. Spickerman, V.V., Pastor of St Mary Catholic Church, with burial in Marion Cemetery.
