Funeral Service for Mr. Anthony Cook of Seffner, will be Feb. 27, 2 pm, at Keeney Chapel United Methodist Church, 7736 Destin Drive, Rev. Ron Hubbard, pastor presiding, Rev. V.C. Fayson, Eulogist. Interment at FL Ntnl Cemetery, Bushnell, at later date. Anthony's life reflected the true ingredients for excellence, which included sharing, caring, flexibility, "getting the job done." Entering the U.S. Navy, serving 4 years, and traveling to many places throughout the world. His most satisfying moment was his stint was assisting was devastated by Hurricane Andrew. Completing service time, attended Voorhees College, outstanding track star, transferred to USF completing his bachelor's degree. Worked at Hillsb. County Schools, Middleton HS, Carver Exceptional School. Survived by wife, Cynthia; son and daughter, Aiden and Ashtyn; mother, Daryle Cook; father, Andrew Cook; father-in-law, Alphonso Myrie Sr.; sister, Tamara Cook-Williams (Keithrick); brother, Aaron Cook Sr. (Delores); three brothers-in-law, grandmother, nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving relatives and friends. No matter the role he played in life-husband, father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend his lovable personality, pleasant demeanor and willingness to assist others leave a profound legacy for us all to emulate.
