Calvin G. Kenyon, aged 84, died
at his home, 2 Charles street, yesterday morning at 12:30.
Death followed a gradual decline
in health since June of this year.
Mr. Kenyon was born in Athol,
Warren county. October 30, 1862,
the son of Lyman and Laura Ann
(Wood) Kenyon and had been a
resident of this city for fifty years. His wife was the late Sarah M. (Cady) Kenyon.
He was a mlllright by trade and
was an employee at the Karg Bros.
tannery for many years. His last
place of employment. Before retirement,
was at the Milligan-Higgins glue factory.
Mr. Kenyon was a member of the Reformed church,
Cayadutta Lodge, 218, IOOF , and a former member of the Red Men.
The survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Ernest Merrill of Meco: one son, Clyde, of Gloversville; twenty-one grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The body was removed to the Cole funeral home, where the funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2. The Rev. Chester A. Wing, pastor of the Reformed church, will officiate and interment will be in Prospect Hill cemetery, Gloversville
