Mrs. Lee, widow of Benjamin Lee, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo Owens Martin and Beatrice Martin Fogle. She was an active member of State Street Baptist Church for more than 60 years and a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. Mrs. Lee had been a local area resident for more than 60 years. She had retired from Marty Rae's Furniture Gallery of Lexington where she was the head designer. She was also an interior designer at J.B. White's and was co-owner at Rhett Jackson Carpets and Interiors. Mrs. Lee was a charter member of Cayce Museum and Historical Society where she served as vice chairman and commissioner and she was a member of the Cayce Women's Club.
