Funeral services for Rhonda Kathleen Deason Betts, 33, of Longview, will be 3 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2006, in the Welch Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Kyle Miller and the Rev. Terry Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Grace Hill Cemetery. Ms. Betts died Saturday, September 9, 2006, at a local medical center. Ms. Betts was born October 21, 1972, in Longview, to Johnny Deason and Vera Blackwell Harrison. She was a certified nursing assistant and had worked at Truman Smith Center. She attended The Fellowship Church. Survivors include her parents, Vera and Don Harrison of Longview; father, Johnny Deason and step-mother, Wanda of Houston; sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Tony Ezernack of Longview; sister, Tracie Deason of Longview; daughter, Amanda Henderson of Longview; son, Maddox Sullivan of Longview; granddaughter, Erika Murphy of Longview; sister, Bethany Deason of Houston; brother, Daniel Deason of Houston; sister, Tina Smith of Haltom City; brother, Michael Harrison of Haltom City; special uncle, Jackie Blackwell of Longview; and numerous other loving family, including her niece, Rachel Ezernack, and nephew, Tristan Deason.
