Dr. Larry Alan Budde, 66, of Remington, died Thursday, after a long battle with Congestive Heart Failure and Cancer.

He was born to the late Harold Budde and Jean Strain Budde, August 13, 1947. Larry graduated from Brook High School and later from Indiana University with a Doctorate in Optometry in 1973.

Larry married Frances Clinton on June 7, 1967 and they had two children. They were divorced in 1991.

Larry had his own optometry practice in Remington from 1974 until 2000 when he became the Optometrist at the Monticello Wal-Mart. He retired in 2013.
Larry attended Meadow Lake Presbyterian Church in Wolcott for many years. He loved sports, especially Indiana University basketball. He especially enjoyed going to watch his grandsons play baseball and basketball.

Larry is survived by his sweetie for many years, Carma Buschman, brother, Ron Budde of St. Louis, Missouri, two children: Tracey Winger of Brookston and Timothy Budde of West Lafayette. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
