Debra enjoyed playing music, cooking and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also liked to help people when she could. She had a kind heart. She was known as “Ma” by many people and loved by all.
She was a hairdresser and had worked for herself and Smart Style.
The family includes her husband, Gary Wallace whom she married on November 1, 2011; her daughter, Cassandra Simoneau and her husband, Robert of Claremont; her son, David Brooks, Jr and his fiancé, Stevielee Ross of Claremont; three grandchildren, Gabriel Brooks, Asher Brooks and Micah Simoneau; her father, Jerry Serem of Unity; one sister, Ann Marie Serem of SC; one brother, Maurice Fazekas of FL, one nephew, Tyler Patten; her dogs, Saquia and Rambo; also many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gail and her son, Mitchell.
A graveside service will be held in Forest Hills Cemetery in the spring.
