Debra Lee Webb, born Feb. 22, 1964, in Sistersville, W.Va., passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 10, 2009, at her home in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Debbie, a 1982 graduate of Terry Sanford High School in Fayetteville, N.C., was the daughter of Dr. R. Kent Webb and Judy Webb of Fayetteville.
Debbie enjoyed an infectious sense of humor, made friends wherever she went, loved children, and was an avid reader.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Myers Funeral Home in Sistersville, W.Va.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be directed to the Imagination Library, c/o Robin Taylor, W.Va. Department of Education and the Arts, 1900 Kanawha Blvd., East Building 5, Room 205, Charleston, WV 25305. The Imagination Library promotes the love of early reading and learning by giving books to young children in West Virginia.
