Emma loved to take care of children and was a mother to everyone. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and bird watching. She was a loving, caring person who never knew a stranger.
She is survived by her daughter, Jerrie Munyon; sons, Marvin Cutwright, Corky Auglar (Suzie), and Keith Cutwright (Gloria); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Marvin Wright; and sisters, Mary D’Andrea and Earline Wess.
She was preceded in death by her children, Leslie Daniels, Mifflin Cutwright, Brenda McNeeley, and Frances (John) Hagen; her parents; and seventeen brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 25, also at Hamilton’s, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
