Christopher Charles Fischer, 46, of Erie and formerly of Orlando, FL, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, at his residence. He was born, in Erie, on May 7, 1969 a son of Annabelle L. Van Riper Fischer.
Chris attended East High School and his most recent accomplishment was receiving his commercial driver's license and starting his career with Western Express trucking company. He was a free-spirited person who had a love for cooking and he enjoyed sharing his cooking with others. He also enjoyed video games, music, and playing guitar. He especially loved being with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Nora Van Riper Zimmerman.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his children, Joshua and Alivia; two sisters, Norann Dillon and MaryBeth Santucci (Steve) of Girard; one brother, Michael Fischer (Emily) of San Francisco, CA; many nieces and nephews; his beloved kitty, Owlie; and his close friend, Carl.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service there at 6:00 p.m.. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in St. Agatha Cemetery in Meadville, PA.
