Benjamin F. King, aged 77, a farmer living northwest of Wawaka, was fatally injured Tuesday morning, August 13, 1946, at 6:30 o'clock at a New York Central Railroad crossing. His car was completely demolished.
He is survived by five children: Mrs. Anna Frick of Wawaka; Mrs. A.C. Carson of Redlands, California; Mrs. Roy Heidenbach of St. Joe, Indiana; Mrs. F.C. Preston of Elkhart and Robert King of Marshall, Michigan; 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Mary Frick of Wawaka.
The body was brought to the Bonham & Miser Funeral Home and was taken to the Sedwick Funeral Home Wednesday, where funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be at Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier.
