Johnny Wayne Hooper, age 57, of Lawrenceburg, died Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at his home after an illness. He was born in Woodford County and is the son of Ida Lou Smith Hooper, Lawrenceburg, and the late William Owen Fountain Hooper. He attended Fairview Christian Church.

Including his mother, he is survived by: one daughter, Jenny Lynn Hooper, Lincoln County; three grandchildren; three sisters, Betty (Doug) West, Owenton, Judy (Raymond) Clark, Frankfort; and Wanda Hooper, Lawrenceburg; three brothers, Billy (Priscilla) Hooper, Jimmy (Michelle) Hooper, both of Lawrenceburg, Bobby Wayne (Brenda) Hooper, Harrodsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 29, at the Gash Memorial Chapel in Lawrenceburg with Bro. James Harley officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
