Born on July 20, 1947, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Loretta Pavill Hoover. She was raised in Hanover Township and graduated from St. Vincent's High School, Plymouth. She was a retired homemaker who enjoyed gambling at Mohegan Sun and Atlantic City.
Surviving are five children, Jamie, Pittston, Tracie Azarovich, Olyphant, Christopher, Pittston, Jeff, West Pittston, and Joanne, Hughestown; six grandchildren, Dylan, Karina, Jeffrey Adam, Kenny and Skylar Hoover and Jeffrey Michael Azaraovich; one great-granddaughter, Makayla Norkaitis; a brother, Joseph, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey; three sisters, Joanne Shevock, Nanticoke, Judy Papadoplos, Mechanicsburg, and Bernie Feeley, Kingston.
The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Friday in the Paul F. Leonard Funeral Home, 575 N. Main St., Pittston. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at a later date.
