Adeline Dorothy Beilfuss, age 89, of Shawano, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 in Shawano. Adeline was born on April 22, 1926, in the Town of Maple Valley, to the late Charley and Hazel (Boettcher) Zahn. She was united in marriage to Allen H. Beilfuss on October 25, 1948 in Bessemer, Michigan. Allen preceded her in death on March 10, 2001. Although she was born in Oconto County, she lived most of her life in Shawano County where she and Allen farmed. Adeline is a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine.
Adeline is survived by her son, Allen (Elizabeth) Beilfuss, Jr. of Shawano and her foster daughter, Peggy (Allen) Lange of Shawano. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Amber and Eric Beilfuss and her foster grandchildren, Brian and Lisa as well as two great grandchild, Hunter and Hailey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen, one son, Ricky, her parents and one brother Marvin Zahn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at St. Martin Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine with Rev. Kurt Kluge officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and again at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services. Swedberg Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
