Virginia Beach - Dustin Wayne Howell, aged 38, was tragically taken on February 17, 2016. Born on January 21st, 1978 in Norfolk, Va he spent his childhood in Virginia Beach, VA. A Kellam High School graduate of 1996, he was a member of the wrestling and golf teams. Upon graduation he went on to work with his father as a general contractor for 14 years until he began working for Manson Construction Co. as a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 25. He loved fishing, cooking, reading, and enjoying life with loved ones. He was an honest, kind hearted, loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. He is survived by his parents Pam & Steve Howell, Grandparents Etta & Ned Clark, Sister Kendall Reed, Brothers Derrick Howell & Kyle Howell, Loving Partner Connie Duncan, and a large extended family of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends. Dustin is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Wilson and Josephine Howell. The family will be holding a memorial service on Sunday, February 28th at 2:00 PM at Back Bay Christian Assembly of God located at 1212 Princess Anne Rd in Virginia Beach, VA. Family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be sent to the American Diabetes Association .
