William Ryan Crump, 79, of McKinney, Texas, passed away February 20, 2016. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, February 26, 2016, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen.
Bill was born in McKinney, Texas, to the late Brice Anthony and Willie Juanita (Miller) Crump. He graduated from McKinney High School in 1954 and later from Texas A&M University in 1958, where he was in the Corps of Cadets. Bill married Ruby Norris on February 20, 1960, in College Station, Texas. Bill and his family owned and operated Crump’s Garden, Inc. in McKinney for many years. He proudly served in the National Guard and was a member of First Christian Church in McKinney.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Joe B. Crump, and younger brother, Tom W. Crump.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby, of McKinney, Texas; son, Bill Crump and wife, Debbie, of McKinney; daughter, Tammy Rogers and husband, Rainey, also of McKinney; grandchildren: Kevin Crump and wife, Lyndsey, Brice Crump, Lindsey Crump, Jacob Rogers and wife, Jordan, Steven Rogers and wife, Elise, Will Rogers and wife, Whitney, Jed Rogers, and Olivia Rogers; great-grandchildren: Sloane Crump, Penn Crump Beckham Rogers, and Quinn Rogers; other relatives and many friends.
