Entered into rest February 3, 2016: Carol Ann Moss, 79, at her home in Long Beach.Carol was born July 3, 1936. She attended Mark Twain Elementary, St. Matthews Elementary, and St. Anthony’s High School. She graduated from the University of Redlands. She was one of the early computer programmers at the Los Angeles Unified School District, and retired as a Systems Analyst after 31 years of service there. She was an active parishioner of St. Cyprian’s for over 70 years, including singing in the choir for close to 30 years. Her interests included family, her garden, puzzles, and reading.She is survived by her siblings: Mary Jean (Russ) Rose; Len (Judi) Moss; Martha Peyton (Karen Steward); Charlie (Reggie) Moss; Halina Pietrzak; and 16 grand- and 11 great- grand nieces and nephews.Services will be at St. Cyprian’s Catholic Church, 4714 Clark Ave., Long Beach on February 13, 2016 at 12:30 PM.In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Heifer International, St. Vincent de Paul, or another charity of your choice.As her niece Michelle said, “Her kindness, generosity, and love were overwhelming.”
