She received her schooling in Hartland.
She married Edward H Giles Sr in Hartland on May 29, 1915 who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Congregational Church of Hartland, the Ladies Aid Society of that church, the Hartland Industrial Club, the Legion Auxiliary, the World War Mothers Club, and Sons and Daughters Liberty Union of which she was the state secretary.
She was a Trustee of the Hartland Library Association.
She is survived by one son Col. Edward H Giles who is Commandant of the Soliders Home in Bennington; one grandson, two sisters Alice Evans of Rutland and Lena Barrill of Hartland.
