Swedfish matriarch. She was Mrs. Jacob Ridderstedt and as such a homemaker for him and their five sons and three daughters. She and her future husband, who was three years younger, lived in the same Tjärna Village and once she spotted him (he was very dark) she informed her strict father that it would be "that Ridderstedt" or nobody. Their marriage was very happy. They were teetotalers and would not allow gambling or smoking in their home. In her widowhood she enjoyed traveling to the homes of her children for extended visits and telling stories to them and her many grandchildren.
