Gayle Jeanne (Clary) Jackson entered into heavenly rest Feb. 21, 2016. She was born April 27, 1951, in Memphis to Charles Hubert Clary and Alice Jeanne (Clifford) Clary. She attended Paragould High School. She met and married Marvin Ray Davis in 1975 and they had one daughter. She moved to Little Rock in 1976 and attended Olivet Baptist Church for many years and sang in the choir. She met and married Albert Jackson in 1995. She loved her grandson, Grant, very much and loved being his “Memaw.”

She was preceded in death by her father, mother and maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by her daughter, Ida “Bibi” (Davis) Lewis; son-­in-­law, Greg, and grandson, Grant; two sisters; two brothers; four nephews; one great-niece and -nephew; and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Legacy Health and Rehab in Fort Smith for their excellent care of Gayle for many years. Special thanks to Lewis ­Roberts Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith.
