Gilbert W Rauch, 73, 67 Center Street, Milton, PA died at 7:25 p.m. Saturday at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, PA. He had been ill since January 27.
Deceased was born Sept. 3 1883, in Union County, the son of the late William Shaw Rauch and Rebecca (Hafer) Rauch, and had lived in Milton most of his life. Prior to his retirement, he had been an employee of the White Deer Mountain Water Company. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the Milton Moose Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Jennie Rae (Wagner) Rauch, two daughters, Helen - Mrs. J Max Grittner and Meriam - Mrs. Nevin Deaner, both of Milton; a son Charles Millard, Long Beach, CA; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services in charge of Paul S. Grittner funeral home, Turbotville, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Christ Lutheran Church with the Rev. Raymond C Shindler officiating. Internment will be in Presbyterian Cemetery of McEwensville.
Friends will be received at Christ Lutheran Church Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
