Mr. Larry Richard Temple Sr. was called into the presence of the Lord on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at his residence in Magnolia, MS. Mr. Temple was born at Magnolia, MS, on January 27, 1949 to Mr. Harvey Franklin Temple Sr. and Mrs. Louise Boyd Temple.

Visitation will be at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit, MS on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 9:00 AM till time of service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery. Rev. E. J. Didon will be officiating the services. Sharkey Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Temple was an operator for Jimmy Robinson’s Dozer service and previously worked as a breakman for the ICRR and spent time with Georgia Pacific. He was a member of Magnolia First Baptist Church. He loved to farm, work with his beef cattle and antique cars. He loved to spend time with his sons playing any type of game. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with his grandsons.

Mr. Temples is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Franklin Temple Sr. and Louise B. Temple; two brothers in law, Joel G. Smith and James C. Whittington.

Survivors are sons, Richard Temple Jr. and wife Chelsey of Magnolia, Aaron Temple and fiancé Jennie of Minneapolis, MN; brother, Harvey and wife, Markel Temple of Magnolia; sisters, Mickey and husband David (Rod) Moak of Bogue Chitto, Debbie T. Whittington and Betty T. Smith of Magnolia; grandsons, Ryan and Landyn Temple; stepchildren, Robins and husband Josh Jeffcoat, Sam and Jane Brown along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers are Jason Temple, Danny Rushing, Chris Whatley, Josh Jeffcoat, Brian Moak and Kevin Smith.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Robinson and Don Honea.
