He married first Marie Fobes Lyon. after her passing her married widow Luna Hoyt Reece on March 25, 1909 ~ Pembroke, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. There were no children born to them. They lived in this area for several decades trying their best to help the community. They adopted or at least cared for several young people to help them out in life. Charles' death record shows he is buried in this cemetery though there may not be a marker at his resting place.
