Donna Jarman Holt passed away peacefully on February 18, 2016 surrounded by her family.

She was born May 31, 1936 in Taber, Alberta, Canada to Charles Penrose Jarman and Inez Melba Easthope. She grew up living in many parts of the country and resided in South Jordan for sixty-four years.

She married Rex B. Holt on November 10, 1951 and they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on November 10, 1956.

Donna had a beautiful soprano voice and sang at several local functions. She was a member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in numerous callings. She had a great love for temple work, genealogy, and loved her many friends and neighbors.

Her greatest joy was her family. She loved each of them unconditionally and they were the lights of her life.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, children, Christine (Les) Bundy of St. George, Dana (Lynn) VanDyke, Ryan (Cindy) Holt, and Marianne (Kelly) Densley, all of South Jordan; thirteen grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren, brothers, Charles and David; and sister, Gayle. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Beth and Dianne; and granddaughter, Morgan Holt.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the River Ridge Second Ward Chapel, 10290 South 1000 West, South Jordan. Viewings will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley Mortuary, 1007 West South Jordan Parkway (10600 South), South Jordan, and prior to the services at the church on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Interment at the South Jordan City Cemetery.
