Funeral services were held on Wednesday August 24, 1960 for John Charles Bradley. Mr. Bradley died at his home in Durham Ok, on Monday, August 22, 1960. Graveside services followed at El Reno Cemetery, El Reno, Ok. Rev. Sanford Cole was the officiating minister. Born June 9, 1882 in Minnesota, Mr. Bradley was married to Mary Ethel Bernell in 1908 at Grand in Old Day County, Ok. They lived near Eldorado until 1942 when they moved to the Durham community. He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Margaret (Fosset) Bradley, son, Roland E., and daughter, Ruth E. Bradley (twins). Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Mary Bradley; two daughters, Mrs. Faye White Of Carrolton, Tx; and Mrs. Nellie Hughes Of Midwest City, Ok; three sons, Joseph D. Bradley of El Reno, Ok; Charles R. Bradley Of Durham, Ok; and Willard D. Bradley Of Dumas Tx; and his sister, Mrs. Nellie Johnson of Yakima, Washington. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Oklahoma

J. C. Bradley Rites Set At Durham

John Charles Bradley, prominent farmer of the Durham community, died Monday at his home. Funeral services will be held at Durham community building at 9:30 a. m. Wednesday, August 24, with Rev. Sanford Cole, officiating.

Born June 9, 1882 at Minnesota, Mr. Bradley was married to Mary Ethel Bernell in 1908 at Grand. He came to Kingfisher at the age of 12. They lived near El Reno until 1942 when he moved to Durham.

He was preceded in death by one son and one daughter.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Bradley; two daughters, Mrs. Faye White, Carrolton, Texas, Mrs. Nellie Hughes, Midwest City; Three sons, Donald of El Reno, Roy of Durham, Willard of Dumas, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Johnson. Yakima, Washington.

Burial will be in the El Reno cemetery with Scroggins funeral home in charge.
