CHERRYVILLE – Wilma Scarborough Nelson, 72, passed away Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, at her home.She was born June 3, 1943, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Truman Lee Stephens and LeeAnne Harrell Stephens.Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, one grandson, and one grand-daughter.Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Michael Nelson; sons, Keith Perkins and wife, Lynn, Dwight Perkins and wife, Anna, Timmy Nelson and wife, Vickie, Mike Nelson, and wife, Lea; daughters, Tammy Cash and husband, Ricky, Donna Haskin and husband, Jimmy, and Larissa Shuffler and husband, Chris; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; 28 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
