Freda Louise Hill

Freda Louise Hill, daughter of the late Ernest Cooley and Pearl Hunt, was born in Shannon County, Missouri, on November 8, 1926. She departed this life at Brent B. Tinnin Manor in Ellington, Missouri, on November 27, 2019, at the age of 93.
On November 28, 1946 in Ellington, Missouri, Freda was united in marriage to James Hill and to this loving union two children were born. He preceded her in death on July 8, 2003. Freda was a member of the Ellington First Baptist Church and TOPS. She enjoyed playing bingo, camping at the Log Yard and flower gardening, she had a green thumb. Freda’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandkids.
Freda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Lindell Leahmon Hill, one brother, Ora Cooley, and one sister, Melba Wofford.
Freda is survived by one daughter, Audrey Thomas and significate other Kate of Ellington, Missouri, one brother, Dan Cooley of Grubville, Missouri, 4 grandchildren, Jason, Allen, Eden and Gabrielle, and 6 great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Eian, Rikky, Brayden, Ireland and Lucas. Freda will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn her passing.
Visitation: Saturday, November 30th from 11 AM – 1 PM at McSpadden Funeral Home, Ellington, Missouri
